Unless otherwise exempt, as of October 1, 2013, a Maryland resident must
possess a valid Handgun Qualification License (HQL) before he/she may
purchase, rent, or receive a handgun. Course: Handgun Qualification Licensing
Course/Basic Pistol 1. This course is a requirement and covers all that you
need to be able to apply. This is a 4 hour class, in addition to a live fire portion
at the range.

The classes are taught to help focus on each student’s individual needs and technical inadequacies.

This is the absolute best way to learn safe gun handling- for beginner,
intermediate, or advanced shooters. Private training offers immediate
improvement of basic and advanced skill sets, in a confidential and secure
setting. This one-on-one attention to your personal gun-handling skills creates
a positive and comfortable learning environment conducive to rapid
improvement in a compressed time frame. Our lessons can be taught with a
“test drive” of a number of firearms we own, or with your personally-owned
firearm(s).

MD wear and carry/multi-state CCW Permit Course
Course: Lessons on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency
Details
In order to CARRY your firearm on your person in whatever jurisdiction you live
in, you need a permit to carry in that state. In order to be eligible to apply, you will
need to take a course meeting the CCW requirements set by each respective
state and then you can apply. MD requires a 16 hour Course( 2 Days 8 hours per day). VA and a number of other states require a 4 hour Course. Message us for details!
